Your data

Privacy Policy

In plain English: we collect as little as possible. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads and has no forms. The only personal data we ever see is what you choose to send us by email, plus the basic technical data any website host processes to deliver pages securely.

Contains promotional links.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website is the operator of chickenroad.radio.am, contact: contact@chickenroad.radio.am. This policy applies to all pages under chickenroad.radio.am, including the UK edition. It is written with UK data protection law in mind, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What data we collect

This site is a set of static HTML pages. It does not use cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels, advertising networks, social media plugins, user accounts, comment systems or contact forms. We therefore do not build profiles of visitors, track how you move around the site or follow you across other websites.

We collect personal data in only two situations, described below: technical data processed by our hosting provider when your browser requests a page, and the content of any email you decide to send us.

Hosting and server logs

Our pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as our hosting and content delivery provider. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser type and similar connection information. This processing is necessary for the site to work and to keep it secure, which is our legitimate interest.

We do not run our own server logs on top of this, and we do not receive daily lists of visitors. Any aggregated security information Cloudflare shows us, such as the number of blocked requests, does not identify you personally.

We do not use this data to identify individual visitors and do not combine it with other data. Cloudflare processes it under its own privacy terms and may transfer data internationally under appropriate safeguards.

If you email us

If you write to contact@chickenroad.radio.am, we receive your email address, your name if you include it and whatever you write. We use this only to read and answer your message, for example to check a correction you have reported. We do not add you to mailing lists, sell your details or share them with casinos or anyone else.

We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up, after which we delete them. Please do not send us sensitive information such as casino passwords, bank details or identity documents. We never ask for them.

Links to third-party sites

Some pages link to external sources such as the UK Gambling Commission, GamCare, GamStop and the game provider, and some buttons are affiliate links to casino operators. When you follow any of these links you leave our site. The other site's own privacy and cookie policies then apply, including any tracking it carries out. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, how third-party sites handle your data, so read their policies before you sign up or share anything.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and, where relevant, to receive it in a portable form. In practice, the only personal data we hold is any email correspondence, so requests are simple to handle. Write to us at the address above or via our contact page.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator.

Security

All pages are served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Because we hold so little personal data, the main security measure is simply not collecting it. Emails you send are read only by the people who run the site.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, let us know and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site works changes, for example if we ever introduced a tool that sets cookies, we would update this policy and our cookie policy before doing so. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. See also our terms of use.
